Immunogen: Purified rabbit skeletal alpha-actinin.
Clone: EA-53
Isotype: IgG1
Size: 0.5ml
Format: This antibody is supplied as diluted ascites containing sodium azide as preservative.
Titre/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titre of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user.
Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Suitable for formalin/paraffin tissues.
Specificity: This antibody is specific for alpha-skeletal muscle actinin and alpha-cardiac actinin. It stains Z lines and dots in stress fibers of myotubes in skeletal and cardiac muscle but not in nonsarcomeric muscle elements. This antibody shows wide range of cross reactivity with various mammalian species.
Positive Control: Skeletal muscle
Cellular Localisation: Cytoplasmic
Storage: Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
