Description This monoclonal antibody is a dengue virus group-specific mouse monoclonal antibody and is intended for use in IgM capture ELISA for the diagnosis of dengue virus IgM in patient serum samples. Specificity This monoclonal antibody reacts with a conformational epitope on the envelope glycoprotein of dengue virus serotype 1, 2, 3 and 4. Isotype IgG2b, kappa Applications This monoclonal antibody may also be used in an indirect immunofluorescence assay for the detection of dengue virus antigens in infected cells. It has been tested in other ELISA formats including the dengue virus antigen capture ELISA and the dengue virus IgG capture ELISA. This monoclonal antibody is not applicable for western blot immunoassays. Usage Recommendation This monoclonal antibody may be diluted 5-10X for use, however optimal dilutions will have to be determined by individual laboratories. Storage This product is supplied as a cell culture supernatant and contains 10mM sodium azide. The monoclonal antibody is stable for a year at 4ºC when properly stored.
