Specificity of Mab:            The anti Flag magnetic particle is designed to work with the FLAG peptide. The FLAG peptide marker is an octapeptide [asp-tyr-lys-asp-asp-asp-asp-lys] fusion tag. The anti flag M1 magnetic particles binds the FLAG peptide only when it is located at the free amino terminus of a FLAG fusion protein tag. A FLAG fusion protein with a free amino terminus is expressed when it is directed to the periplasmic space by an amino terminal signal peptide.
